NPR First In Media To Lie About Beck Rally In DC

Photos: Glenn Beck Rally Has People Seeing Red ‎

NPR - 17 minutes ago

Thousands turned out to hear Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin speak in front of the Lincoln Monument in Washington, DC, on Saturday.

It may actually be that "thousands" listen to NPR coast to coast. There were a tad more than thousands at the "Restoring Honor" rally in DC. 300,000 to 500,000 people turned up in the Federal City for the rally. There are no crowd estimates for those who may or may not be listening to NPR.

Liberal Heads Exploding Over Beck Rally

They're calling it a Nazi rally. Some are saying it is the largest KKK rally in years. The knee slapping crowd is calling it Whitestock. Whatever they are calling it they seem to be really scared of Beck and his rally.

On Twitter the left is full of snark.

Meanwhile at Whitestock or the rally, whatever, an American Indian is giving a medal to a black preacher who attended the Republican MLK rally held there many years ago. The left is angry that such men of color would try to "steal" the heritage of the Civil Rights movement, especially when they speak of Jesus. They left wants Jesus to be a communist and MLK to be agnostic when they want to use them for their political ends.

On other sites leftists question whether Beck will allow God and MLK to be mentioned and then ridicule him when they are not only mentioned, but held in the highest esteem. Others want to have answer to that burning question, are Beck and Palin being paid and if so, how much? The theme is that capitalists can be bought to speak on behalf of anything, unlike any on the left. That the great unwashed rubes of America attending the rally are really what is wrong about America, unlike those on the left. That people that want less government intrusion, less power and less spending are the problem, unlike the left.

This is what makes the left so open to other ideas.
